Sponsor |  chouxette | Oct 27, 2007 11:42am | Would someone help me? A friend gave me a zenwalk nano plus for my birthday. She doesn't know I still don't know how to use it. The software that came with it was a heft 687mb and totally crashed my computer and wiped out years worth of music from my Windows Media Player. I've tried everything. I think I have a block against using this thing.
I would appreciate Any help.

| | SammyV | Oct 27, 2007 11:54am | hmmm, it really can't wipe off files from windows media player. It doesn't stores files. Maybe it wiped off your playlist. Are you sure the actual files are not still on your computer? Do a search on your computer for ".mp3"

The search for mp3 brings up a list of music under the word files with mp3 after it...I'm assuming this is music that can be downloaded to the player, as I've tried ... unsuccessfully. Have you heard of 'OverDrive'? |

All you have to do is import all your music (have your nano hooked up to the computer). And then sync it.
If you are using Windows just download Itunes and it will scan your computer for all music files and then sync it. Of course have your nano connected to the computer |

Sponsor | | chouxette | Oct 31, 2007 8:06am | I'm using Vista, Windows Media Player, although the music went to the Real Player, that's where the music was imported to the downloaded software that came with the mp3 player ... it said to import the music and I did and then the computer crashed again totally and that's how I lost all ... anyway,
I don't even know where some of this stuff came from, I only want the stuff I like ...
I'm using Vista and how do I sync it? sorry to be so dense... |

Do you have an Ipod Nano? Zenwalk is a Linux distrubution. Vista is a Microsift distrubtion. It's a computer operating system.
