I guess I'm confused. In yout first post you were talking about Zenwalk.
Do you have an Ipod Nano? Zenwalk is a Linux distrubution. Vista is a Microsoft distrubtion. It's a computer operating system.

If you are trying to install Linux software on your Vista system, it will not work

I was given a Zenwalk Nano plus mp3 player. My computer is Dell Microsoft Vista Home Premium. Perhaps that's why I had such serious problems after uninstalling (re-installing, un-re...)Why doesn't Zenwalk or Creative say it's Linux anywhere!!!>>>???

With all respect, you have something wrong about what you have. There is nothing called Zenwalk Nano player.
